[Locked to Tesla]Do you have a moment, Tesla? I'd like to speak to you in person about something. And if we can meet somewhere that allows me the opportunity to breathe in second-hand smoke, all the better.
[Locked to D3 Tributes, Maks, and Elektra]
Zara and Luc, I want you both to know I think you've done well preparing for the arena. You asked questions, you did well for the gamemakers, and the response to your interviews seems positive. Once you're in the arena, our direct communication will cease, but you can ask for or signal me and Maks should you need something. As soon as you leave for the arena, we'll be seeing to it that you have necessary items whenever possible. One of us is always watching the Games.
Take care of yourselves before anyone else. No matter what happens in the arena, be assured that you possess enough foresight to make predictions about what might be facing. Keep a cool head while you're out there. Everything is strategic. The Games is a game - it's not all luck. One of you can be a Victor, and I wouldn't say that if I didn't think it was true.
I'll be in the sitting room tonight if either of you would like to talk or just have some company. I'll have the Avoxes bring something good to eat and drink.

[Locked to Maks, Luc, and Zara]District 5's mentor has approached me with a possible alliance with her kids. She says her boy is strong and her girl would be useful as a medic. If that's the case, an alliance may be beneficial to you. How do you feel about both tributes? Are you interested in an alliance with them?
Also, I want you to remember a couple of things as we discuss your strategy for tomorrow.
- A low score will not necessarily deter Capitol citizens from sponsoring you, but it will make you less of a mark for your fellow tributes. Mid-range is fine. Very little attention is paid to low scores, and that can be strategic. You don't need to break your back impressing them, but you should definitely convey your potential.
- District 3 has a fortunate position in the evaluation sequence. The gamemakers should still be attentive by the time you go in. If they are not, do something to get their attention - something loud will usually do.
So now that you've been through four days of training, what are you thinking of doing for the Gamemakers?

[Locked to Maks/Elektra/Luc and Zara]Luc and Zara, I understand that you may be feeling overwhelmed right now. That's absolutely normal and if you have any concerns, I ask that you please let Elektra, Maks, or I know. We're here to help you, and I assure you, we've heard it all.
Although I understand you might not be able to acclimate quickly to the changes you're facing, I would like you to keep a sharp eye on your competition. Maks and I want to hear about whatever you find significant, from their levels of arrogance to whether or not they appear anxious or ill. Commit interactions to memory and don't feel that you can't initiate conversation with other tributes. You can learn as much by observation as you can with interaction, as you both well know. Tributes from Career districts are over-confident, but don't let them discourage you.
Dray will take good care of you tonight. I like him. Trust him and listen to what he has to say.
If there's anything else we can do for you, or any other questions you may have, don't hesitate to ask. Maks and I will see you tonight, before you ride out of the Remake Center.
[Locked to Silver]It's not very often a first time mentor has such successful tributes. You did very well, giving them the means to survive as long as they did. Your district will be pleased, as I'm sure you are.
Enjoy your few months of recovery before the Victory Tour begins. Come over when you make it to Three, if you can manage to tear yourself away from the festivities. We'll have dinner.
[Locked to Maia and Ash]It was a tough fight. I'm thinking of you both.
[Locked to Brayden and Mags]I'm sorry about Haline. Her performance spoke well for you both as mentors and for District 4. Have a safe trip home; I'm sure you're looking forward to it.
[Locked to Danna]Danna, I am so sorry about Ellis. I admit, I'm not fond of alliances for a number of reasons, but Ellis was good to Chip and he was fortunate to find an ally with her. She reminded me of Trevor for a number of reasons, right up until the end.
If you need anything, please let me know.
[Locked to Maks]They found each other. Now let's hope they work together and create some traps to increase sponsor interest. I'm getting hedging on my end. I think they're waiting to see if Ari manages to trap something.
I also hope they stay clear of the tribute from eleven. She did not hesitate in killing an unarmed, injured tribute, and quite viciously. She seemed less threatening during training and vapid during the bathing business yesterday - which I admit I couldn't even sit through - but clearly that's an act and she's out for blood. Anyone who puts an axe through a throat within a breath of seeing another tribute is no innocuous competition.
I wonder if Tesla shares our concerns regarding alliances now.
[Locked to Maks]
I think I smoked half a pack of cigarettes after Ari's fall today. Some of the Capitol people were positively gleeful at the idea of a horrible fall.
I'm relieved that you found someone to sponsor food and iodine tablets for Ari. I approached several people but was told that they were waiting for her to do more. I'm not sure what else she can do to catch people's eyes, although perhaps poking around the plates at the Cornucopia would intrigue them. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as though wire was part of the material goods in the Cornucopia.
How do you feel about things going so far? I must admit, I'm concerned about Ellis Sawyer after her performance at the Cornucopia. I realize she helped Chip, but I feel her allegiance is questionable. I hope both Chip and Ari are equally wary, should they meet up with her again.
[Locked to Mentors]Is anyone else growing concerned about the gamemakers making things more interesting somewhere?

[Locked to District 3]It seems very impersonal to be doing this over electronic communication, and I'll be in the sitting room within the next thirty minutes in case anyone would like company, but I would like to take a moment to tell Chip and Ari that I have been very pleased with their performance.
I think you've both prepared yourself well for the arena you're about to face. You asked questions, you performed admirably for the gamemakers, and the response to your interviews has been extremely positive. Once you're in the arena, our direct communication will cease, but you can ask for or signal me should you need something specific. I will do my very best to see to it that you have material help as soon as possible.
Take care of yourselves, and no matter what happens in the arena, be assured that you possess enough foresight to make accurate predictions about what lies ahead. Keep a cool head - everything is strategic. The Games is a game - it's not all luck. One of you can be a Victor, and I would not say that if I didn't think it was true.
[Locked to District 3]A few things that I'd like you to remember before you enter the training center one final time:
- A low score will not necessarily deter Capitol citizens from sponsoring you, but it will probably make you less of a mark for your fellow tributes. Mid-range is fine. Very little attention is paid to low scores, and that can be strategic.
- District 3 has a fortunate position in the evaluation sequence. The gamemakers should still be attentive by the time you go in. If they are not, do something to get their attention - something loud will usually do.
- I have confidence that both of you will perform well for the gamemakers. I'll be in the dining room if you're interested in reviewing your performance with me afterwards. We'll watch the scores broadcast tonight in the sitting room.
[Locked to Tacita and Elektra]
One of the tributes announces that he has feelings for a girl in his home district. He was not able to reveal them to her before the Reaping and is now going into the Arena without ever knowing if she reciprocated them. In his interview, his regret about not telling her the truth is obvious, however, he honorably abstains from saying her name so that she won't feel guilty if he dies in the arena. He also announces that if he becomes victor, he will reveal her identity to Panem so that they can witness an end to their bittersweet story.
What do you think about this situation? Would you sponsor him and send gifts so that he might live to tell her how he feels? If, in the end, she doesn't feel the same way, would he still have your favor?

[Locked to Maks, Chip, and Ari]I want you both to know that Danna Wayfield approached me about an alliance with Ellis Sawyer. I mentioned to her that Ellis would be in alliance with both of you since you've mentioned starting out together. Bron, District 7's male tribute, would not be part of this particular alliance.
If you have any questions about training, don't hesitate to ask. There's been some discussion about a water-logged Arena amongst the mentors, but none of us is willing to make a solid bet on it. It could be another part of the Gamemakers' plans to make the Quarter Quell that much more "exciting". Regardless, please pay attention to the station about finding and purifying water today.
Also, let's begin practicing for your interviews at and after dinner. Maks, Electra, and Tacita will be there to help generate ideas. Is there anything specific either of you wish to be asked about? We can discuss ways to casually introduce something so your interviewer can pick up on it. It shouldn't take much encouragement on your end.
[Locked to District Three]How do you feel about training today? What stations did you attend? Did you speak to any of the other tributes? Did you notice anything else of importance?
If you have any questions about what you learned today, please ask. I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. I have spoken to the other mentors but have not mentioned any alliances as of yet, so you're aware. If you wish to form one or have someone in whom you are interested, the final choice is yours but I'd like to discuss it first.
You've made a good impression thus far. I'm sure you will be able to practice and improve what you've learned and make an even better impression tomorrow.
